Brooke's playdate with Jaydan and Maddie!

On Wednesday, Ashley brought her kids over to play outside. Brooke misses them so much! She loves those kids to death! She tries to help Maddie any chance she gets and hugs and kisses her all the time! And she loves chasing Jaydan around even if he's running to get away from her! They had a blast playing together! In the swimming pool, the sandtable and just running around! I am pretty sure they will be lifelong friends! We hope they will come over more often this summer to have lots of fun outside!

Outdoor Fun!

On the first warm day that we had, I decided to take Brooke outside to play. I blew up her slide pool from last year and put water in it. The first time she went down the slide, she jumped up and started screaming! The water was ice cold! So I dumped a little water out and put 2 gallons of steaming hot water in there. She loved it! She went over and over and made sure her baby got a turn as well. I am so excited that the warmth is finally here! I might have somewhat tan legs this year! And Brooke is excited to have a mini park in the backyard with a HUGE sandbox and lots of grass to run around on!

Easter Morning!

Easter morning is a funny story! We had a full house, because Scott and Jenn came down with all their kids and Brooke didnt get much sleep the night before. Well I was getting ansy because it was 8:00 and she wasnt awake yet, but the other kids were. I didn't want to wake her up, so I just laid there waiting for her to make a sound so I could go in and get her. Well I finally heard her, so I poked my head in her door and said,"Guess what? The Bunny came and left you a surprise!" she was half awake and asked, "Where?" I said, " Its out here! Wanna come see?" And she said," No. I keep sleeping now." I said ok and I shut the door. She went back to sleep and woke up a half hour later ready to come see! I was bummed when she went back to sleep! I was really excited for the day! We had a lot to do that day! After checking out her easter basket, I got her dressed in her pretty little dress and matching bows and bracelets that I made her, and we left to go to my moms house for the egg hunt! We stopped at Icky dees (Thats what Brooke calls McDonalds) for breakfast and she ate really good! Then after my moms, we went to Nathans house for their family get together. Then after that, Back to my moms for a BBQ and Brooke got her new Bike! It was a busy day! She was exhausted and got a little sunburnt. But she had a lot of fun that day!


Brooke's Easter basket! She doesnt really eat candy, so It had to be filled with other things! Her main thing was a princess viewmaster! Everything in her basket was either princess or Tinkerbell!There is a little lantern in there, some little chapsticks, tink ring pops, a princess night light and a couple pez dispensers.

Easter at Grammys house!

The Easter Bunny came to Grammys house too! He brought her this little basket filled with stuff! And we had an egg hunt outside for Brooke too! But it wasnt just eggs that were hidden! There was a bag of goodies that had an Elmo movie, Pincess plate and water bottle and some "Lipsticks" (chapsticks). Plus there were a few other little surprises hidden. She had a blast finding all the goodies! Then she fell. She scraped up her knee that was already scraped up, and it was bleeding all over! We had to put a bandaid on it and she had a meltdown! I know that it stung pretty bad because of how big and bloody it was, so we busted out our Neo to go (neosporin spray) and put a huge bandaid on it. Then she thought she was handicapped! I had to carry her all over while she was crying, "Mommy don't touch my bandaid!" It was awful. So we decided to cheer her up by taking her inside to show her what 'The bunny brought'. She felt better after that. But if you said the word bandaid, she started bawling!

She got this cool whistle, that if you fill it with water, it makes a bird noise when you blow on it. She discovered the water came out of the hole that you blow into, so she just drank all the water and then blew the whistle!

Easter Party at Nathans House!

Aunt Ilene had a get together on Easter for the whole family. She had an Easter Egg Hunt for all the kids and a BBQ. We had alot of fun! Brooke always has so much fun over there! There is always so many little kids and babies to play with! And a great big backyard to run and play in!

Brookes first bike!

So for the past month, Brooke has been telling us that she wants to ride a bike. So on Easter, Kenny went and bought her one! She loves it! She is learning how to pedal by herself, and she is doing pretty good. She cant quite make the pedals go all the way around yet, so she goes forward a little, then backwards a little! Its a cute little bike. its pink and purple, and it adjusts as she grows! Plus it folds up so we can take it to the park and to Grammys!

Dyeing Easter eggs!

I decided that I would let Brooke dye easter eggs tonight. A few weeks ago, she picked out the egg dyes that she wanted. She picked Tinkerbell stickers and a sparkly dye one. So anyway, I got it all out and set it up, put her apron on her ( which she was so excited to wear! She loves that thing!),and just let her go! She seemed like she already knew what to do! She had so much fun! she left some in for a long time and they turned out so pretty! She did a good job! It wasn't even too messy! The second dye that we used was one that you sponge paint on. She did good the first couple eggs, but then she mixed the paints and the rest turned out funny colors!
