Dyeing Easter eggs!

I decided that I would let Brooke dye easter eggs tonight. A few weeks ago, she picked out the egg dyes that she wanted. She picked Tinkerbell stickers and a sparkly dye one. So anyway, I got it all out and set it up, put her apron on her ( which she was so excited to wear! She loves that thing!),and just let her go! She seemed like she already knew what to do! She had so much fun! she left some in for a long time and they turned out so pretty! She did a good job! It wasn't even too messy! The second dye that we used was one that you sponge paint on. She did good the first couple eggs, but then she mixed the paints and the rest turned out funny colors!

Putting the egg in the egg holder...

Getting another egg to drop in! If you look close, you can see that she dropped one in each cup!

I don't even know why she bother to use the holder! She just drops them in the cups!

Being goofy and having fun!

These are the sponge paint ones.

She paints so pretty! :)

Putting them away to dry!

Now she is taking them out to put the stickers on...

Placing them carefully...

Peeling the stickers...

Her finished products! you can tell which ones were hand painted!

ummmm.....

So the past month or so has seemed pretty busy for us! We moved, which seemed to take forever because it was just the two of us! Kenny FINALLY found a job, after searching day after day and going to interview after interview! So now I get to stay home with Brooke again, which I missed very much! She keeps us very busy, because she is always on the go! She always wants to be doing something! I am trying to figure out some fun things I can do with her outside of the house to keep her from getting bored and restless. The past couple days have been nice so we have been outside. We got her some new sand toys and added water to her sand table, and she loves it! We have to get her a little bike for this summer, because she keeps telling us she wants to ride a bike. I have no idea where she got that from. One day, she just said it and hasn't given up yet! Why in the world does she have to grow up so dang fast? And why the heck is her memory better than mine?

My new addiction!

So I have spent alot of money on those flower clips for the hair...The ones they sell at kid to kid and roberts for like 4 or 5 bucks a piece. Well, one day I was looking at them and realized how easy they are to make! So I bought my first kit, and some clips and ribbon, and made a crapload of them! I made a bunch for Brooke and my other favorite little girl, Madyson. (By the way Ashley, I do have more for you!) It is so addicting because the end result turns out so great! They are adorable! So I started selling them for way cheap! About half off of what they sell them for in the stores. Maybe more actually! The Highest price of mine would be 3.50 and thats for a pair of them! So If anyone wants some, or knows anyone else who would like to buy some, Leave me a message on here or facebook. I will make you any color you want! They also clip to the headbands that they make for them. Very cute accessory! I also make the baby and childrens bracelets too!

Brooke's new nightgown...

Me and Brooke went to Kmart the other night, and I can never leave that store without looking at the clothes, so we went over to that section, and the Tinkerbell colors caught my eye. I pulled it off the rack and Brooke went nuts! She was freakin out because it was Tinkerbell AND a pretty dress! It's a nightgown by the way! Anyway, we got home and she just had to wear it to bed! She was dancing on our bed in her pretty "dress" and spinning around. I feel so lucky that she is such a girly girl! She loves her earrings, bracelets, dresses and hair pretties. And of course still the shoes!

Brooke's Interview...

I asked Brooke a few questions last night about what she did that day. Watch her facial expressions! They are HILARIOUS! She is growing up so fast, and developing the cutest personality! When you talk to her, she sounds like such a grown up sometimes! Her vocabulary is huge now, and her attitude is bigger! She is starting to think about things before she says them, and this video shows that! She kind of talks quiet, so turn up your volume first!

Kenny got a job!

YAY! Kenny got a job at a place called skool lunch. Its a cafeteria like place that makes everything from scratch. They get pretty busy I guess and they are opening a new store. They offered Kenny the job as the manager of that store! So now he doesnt have to fix a store that they put hi in, he just gets to keep it running! He is pretty excited about that. His first day waas today and he said it was very busy and long! He got to learn how they make all their fresh food and breads and everything that they ship off to other stores. Its a good opportunity for him and for once he was not set up to fail. Its about time. Brooke misses him already, but I have been trying to keep her busy to keep her mind off of him being gone. we played outside today! she had a blast playig on the swingset and in her sand table. I brought out some new sand tooys for her and we just had a blast! I hope there are more days like that to come!

Elmos Birthday!

I took a day off last week to have a mommy and Brooke day, since we hardly ever get any.I wanted to make cupcakes with her, cuz I know she loves doing that. Well, she thinks cupcakes equals birthdays, so she asked me if it was Shy's birthday. I said no and she went through a list of people, and i could see she was getting confused. So I said," Its Elmo's Birthday! She was so exited about that! She had to bring her Elmo upstairs so he could watch! It was a fun day! Here's the evidence!

Making sure Elmo is watching!

Sir the batter...

This was her first time ever tasting batter! She loved it! I had to take away the bowl!

Looking cute in her apron!

Licking it once again!

Putting in the silicone cupcake holders... (Those things are awesome!)

Carefully placing them...

Frosting her cupcake...

She loved the frosting too!

Her finished product! she decorated it with flower sprinkles and rice krispies!
