POTTY TRAINING TIME!!

.So I decided last week that since we were almost out of diapers, that I should really focus on Potty Training Brooke. The first time, she sat on the potty for over an hour and finally went pee! I kept her busy with watching Barney and spongebob and reading books. When she went pee, I got her all excited and gave her a treat, and let her dump her potty chair in the toilet and flush it herself. She was so proud! All that day, she was saying, "I so proud and mommy and daddy so proud. I not pee in my Elmo panties! " The first day, we had one accident, but she didnt know when to tell me that she had to go. I had to physically put her on the potty! it went on like that for 3 days, and finally on the fourth day she just came to me and told me that she had to go pee! I was so excited! I dropped everything and ran her to the potty before she could pee her pants! And she went! So when Kennys mom got home, she took us to walmart and bought her some treats for when she uses the potty! Since then i think she has had 2 or 3 accidents in over a week! I even put her on the potty before she goes to bed so she can wear panties to bed instead of a pull up. She always wakes up dry! I am so proud of her! She is doing so good! This week, on Monday, I took her to Walmart to let her pick out some new panties and a little seat that goes on the big potty. She is afraid she will fall in! Of course, she picked Elmo for both! She loves her new potty seat and goes every time! The only thing we are having a problem with is that she is uncompfortable going number 2 on the potty. So I told her to just tell me if she needs to go and I will give her a pull up. So far, she only asks for a pull up when she really needs to go number 2! That is fine with me for now. She will get used to it eventually. I just dont want to push her.

Brooke's "Playground" at Grammy's House!

I have been finding some outside toys for Brooke to keep at Grammys house. Our friend gave us the castle playset and we found the slide, teeter totter and little wagon at the DI, adn the sandbox last year on Ksl. The whole "Playground" cost about 20 bucks! And she loves it! She will like it alot more when her baby cousin is born and big enough to play with her!
