UPDATE ON KENNY!!

Well, Kenny went to the doctor on wednesday to find out if his heart was doing any better. Turns out, ITS BACK TO NORMAL! YAY! The procedure they did worked great, and his heart rate was actually at a 71 instead of 120! Its beating normal now, its not skipping a beat, and he feels like he has more energy, he doesnt fall asleep while hes driving, ( THANK GOD!) and overall, he just feels better! When we came out of the doctors office, we were waiting for kenny to make another appointment and I heard Brooke say, "My daddys heart all better now!" I turned around to see who she was talking to, and it was just a random woman in the hall! She must have been so excited that she had to tell someone! Anyway, The woman was talking to her too, so Brooke just kept talking to her. She said," Daddy sick no more. His heart all better. Daddy doctor no more!" It was so cute! She loves going with us to his doctor. They have fish! But this time she was watching really close at what they did to him. Listened to his heart, did an EKG. They had to stick the stickers all over his chest, and the nurse gave her one too. She liked that! She kept saying," Almost done? Almost done?" Any way, Just thought I would update on him since its been awhile. We are in the process of moving once again. Yay. We have to put 90 percent of our stuff in a storage unit this time. We need a house.

Brooke's fun at the Zoo!

Today, we took Brooke to the zoo. When I asked her if she wanted to go, her eyes got really big and she said, "Yea!" I wasnt sure if she remembered what the zoo was, so I asked her what was at the zoo. She told me animals. So I asked what kind of animals. She said, " Um, Efants, Jaffs, Tigers!" Ok. We'll go. She was so excited, she kept telling us, " I ready mom! I ready Dad!" So once again, she loved all the animals, knew most of them and their sounds, and wanted to ride the carousel again and again. She was pretty upset when we only let her ride it once. I didn't post any pics of the nimals, because everyone knows what they look like. I just posted some pics of the other kind of fun she had! Brooke and Jaydans Playdate at Jungle Jims!

On Monday, Kenny had a job interview, so I had to take the day off. I had a coupon for buy one get one free admission to jungle jims playland, so I asked Ashley if she wanted to take Jaydan and go with me and Brooke. The kids had a blast! They got to ride the rides all by themselves, and they loved that! Here are some pictures and videos that I took of them...

There is a lever that you pull to go up and down. You could tell they were fighting over it in the air, because the boat would go up, down, up, down, up, down, really fast! It looked like a really bumpy ride!

On Sunday, we went to our niece Jadicie's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. Brooke had alot of fun! She got to play games, rides a few rides and even dance with the mouse! I remembered my camera this time so here are a few pics...

Valentines at jungle jims playland!

On Valentines Day, Scott and Jenn invited us to go with them to Jungle Jims. I have never been there before and didnt really know what to expect. Brooke had a BLAST! She rode on all the rides, fearless! She even went on the swings! Having shyla by her side helped alot! They are best buds! she rode on boats that go up high, which she rode with aliah and shyla, and she rode the carousel, which she actually freked out on a first, but after 3 seconds, she saw that shy was hacing fun so she was squealing with joy! It was HILARIOUS! She laughed the whole ride! Jenn took her on the roller coaster thats kin of like the music express at lagoon, and she was smiling and laughing the whole time! And it was going pretty fast too! I wish I had pictures to post but I didnt have any room on my camera card. Thank you Scott and Jenn for inviting us! It was a blast!

Kennys Surgery

Well. Kenny had to go in to the hospital at 8:30 on tuesday morning. He called me at 9:15 to tell me that first, he had to drink some nasty stuff so they could look at the back of his heart with a scope to see where they were working. Then they would do the ablation. He told me not to go there until 4 or 5 because that is when he would be out. I kept me and Brooke busy all day, doing stuff around the house, Running errands and playing dollhouse. But I couldn't keep my mind off of him being in surgery, so we went up there right at 4:00. He was assigned a room, but wasnt in there yet. so me and brooke waited in the waiting room for a little while, then went and sat by his room. Every Nurse that walked past, Brooke would ask, "Dads Here?" She was excited to see him! When he finally was coming down the hallway, She screamed and yelled,"Dads Here!" When he got settled in his room, Brooke was afraid to touch him. He had the badages on his arms from the IV and on his hand too. And he had an Orange neck, Which later on she thought was funny! Anyway I talked to the doctor later that night and he said that Kenny had a very fixable heart, and he didnt do the atrial fibrrilation ablation, because he saw where the problem was coming from. So he decided to fix what was causing the AFib. He also said that he believes he fixed the problem. Yay! They went through his neck and left and right side of his groin. He is in some pain, but its not unbearable. he cant take off his bandages until friday, so hes going crazy! Especially with the one on his neck! they have it taped and he cant move his neck around. And he has to lie on his back to sleep. He has lots of owies and I will post as many pics of them as i can. Some would be Illegal! :)

They tried 4 times to put an IV in. This is the biggest bruise from that!

I had to give him shots in his belly, And the first one left this HUGE bruise! I don't know what I did wrong! I feel so bad!

This is the one on his chest! It looks like they scorched him! I wonder if he was smokin' when they were done!

Update on Kenny!

So Kenny had a doctors appt. today to get him ready for his surgery. It will be on tuesday the 3rd at 8:30 a.m. He will have to stay over that night in the hospital. Starting this friday, I have to give him 2 painful shots in the belly each day until tuesday. He had to have them when he was in the ICU last time. They left bruises all over his belly! I am so not looking forward to that! The Ablation will take anywhere from 1-2 hours. I just want to hurry and get this over with so I can stop thinking about the what if"s. I have just got to the point where its only once a night that I put my hand over his face to check for breathing! Now I will start all over again! I hate being paranoid!
