I took Brooke to Disney on Ice: Princess Classics on Thursday night. She has been really into the Princesses Lately! I found this dress on KSL, and I just had to go get it and have her wear it to the show! When she saw it she was so excited! She couldnt wait to put it on! We went to Kennys work to show him our little princess and to grab a bite to eat before the show!

Waiting for the show to start!

Halloween Activities!

So its been a couple months since i have posted a blog... Sorry bout that! Our computer cord broke and when we finally got it fixed, the hard drive went out! So we finally got that fixed, and I have been super busy! But I finally have pics to post, but only of our Halloween activities! I have been slacking, I know. So anyway, Brooke and I decorated cookies for Kennys Birthday since he doesnt like cake. We had alot of fun! I bought tons of sprinkles and tubes of frosting and little candies to put on them... I decorated mine all fancy and Brooke was decorating hers so good! lots of frosting and TONS of sprinkles!! It was so cute! She kept saying, "Happy Halloween! Trick or Treat!" Over and over again! The next morning, we dressed her in her costume and she kept giggling so hard! She was rolling on the floor and laughing! I put mine on too and she went nuts! She was smiling the whole time! Kenny took her to his moms work and then to my work. I wore my costume all day and even to the grocery store! She loved it! Then, on Halloween morning, I made breakfast and at 6:00 pm We went to a church to go trunk or treating. Jose had invited us
to his moms house to go trick or treating in their neighborhood. It was way fun! Brookes whole bucket was FULL of candy! She kept saying, "I know my bucket is getting heavy, but I gotta keep gettin more candy!" We had only been out for an hour! But we stopped at 8. She didnt need anymore! That was our night! Enjoy the pics and I promise to try and keep up my blog!

Lots of new things going on!

Normally we have nothing going on, so there is nothing to write about. This time, there is lots to talk about! First of all, we are moving!!! I am way excited to be out on our own again! Brooke is excited too! they have a pool, even though its only open for a couple more weeks, and a park with fun slides! And Kenny likes this place alot because it has an upstairs, downstairs and an attached garage! Yay! We have space to put our things! Next, I am very excited that Brooke will be starting preschool in January! She is already so smart, and knows things that they learn in preschool. We are teaching her to write her name and she knows how to write the B already! Kenny loves his job at souper salad and can't wait to get more experience so he can eventually become a general manager at a bigger restaurant. I am working at the deli again for a few hours a day while carol watches Brooke. Brookes loves it because she gets to see and hold baby Kiya every day! And Carol says that Brooke is a big help with Kiya. She feeds her and helps change her diaper. I'm happy and relieved that things seem to be looking up for us at this point. I was starting to lose faith and hope in our luck...

Fire, Water and Ice Festival

I feel like I need to blog but it feels weird to blog without pictures! On Saturday, August 8th, we went to fire water and ice at the the Kearns pool. It is something that happens every year and it is so fun! All the pools are open all day, they have inflatable bouncehouses, and you can ice skate for 2 bucks! At night they have an awesome firework show! My mom decided that she would come up for awhile and brought Heather and her friend Nikki with her. Kenny had to work til 5, but he came up after. Brooke had so much fun! I had bought her a lifejacket to wear so I wouldnt have to hold her the whole time in the water, but it didnt work. She was latched! It was pretty windy that day, so it made it very chilly! Me and my mom decided to take Brooke to the indoor pool to swim. So much warmer in there! Later, we dried off and I got Brooke a wristband to go on the inflatable bounce houses and took her inside to the gym. They had little bounce houses for toddlers and a tee ball thing set up. She LOVED that! I think I might just get her one of those little tikes tee ball sets! she was pretty good at it! In the halls, they had a bunch of booths set up to buy things and my mom bought her and Kiya little sparkly wands for 50 cents! Brooke loved hers! Then I saw a booth with the ribbon hair bow clip things and had the lady make one to match Brookes favorite dress perfectly. It is so cute! I was looking at it when I got home and decided to try to make some. they turned out cute, but not as cute as that ladies! We swam more after that and rested a little (underneath a comforter that I was smart enough to bring) and then it was almost time for fireworks! We were sitting close to the band and practically all day Brooke was dancing her butt off! doing new and way cute dance moves that I had never seen her do before! We gathered all our stuff and headed to the van to be closer to the exit after fireworks were over. I am so glad that I did! I parked at Kearns High School and as soon as we got to the van, the fireworks started! We were in front of the school and the fireworks were set off right behind it in the football field! They were so close and so huge! They were right over our heads! Brooke was amazed at how big and beautiful they were! They had an awesome show and I think I would rather go there every year instead of Sugarhouse! No pictures because I had left my camera in Ashleys car.
