I havent written about whats going on in our lives for awhile. I have posted a couple projects and things, but nothing really about us. So here goes!
Kenny was recently transferred from the taylorsville souper salad to one that is on 1300e and 3300s. Its alot farther away which seems to happen to him no matter which job he gets. Its aggravating. He likes his job, but like always, it has its ups and downs. He works quite a bit, but since he was transferred, He has weekends off now. Its nice to have him home on weekends and for dinner at night! We seem to get more done now that there are 2 of us to do things! His heart is still the same. He is still taking his meds. Nothing has changed on that that subject.
I have been working on a couple projects lately. I finished the dollhouse, but we have yet to move it upstairs. Then I decided that I wanted to start de-cluttering the house. Kenny did a closet, then I did a closet and Brookes closet, and this past weekend I decided to do the garage. That was a HUGE job! Kenny and I built some bookshelves for Brookes toys and games out there. (The garage is used as her playroom in the warmer months) And Kenny rebuilt the shelves that were attached to the wall because the people who put them up rigged it all funky. It is much more sturdy now and looks so much better! I went through every tote that we had and I ended up with a HUGE pile of stuff that I put on KSL to try and sell. I am very proud of myself for that! I have a hard time getting rid of stuff because of the "Just in Case" factor. But I did it. And the Garage looks WONDERFUL! I have been working everyday and Brooke goes to my moms house so my sister Carol can watch her. For the most part Brooke likes going there. She loves her cousin Kiya so much! She is so excited that she is learning how to sit and play with toys now! She tells her everyday that she is so proud of her! Its adorable! She will make a great big sister one day!
Brooke is getting so big and so smart! She is getting excited to start preschool in a few months. She loves to learn and is a very curious kid! She is pretty mature for her age. She seems to wonder about things that are alot bigger than what a 3 year old should worry about. Her favorite T.V. show is iCarly. She could probly beat a 15 year old in a trivia contest! That is a tween show on Nickelodeon if you guys didnt know. She wont really sit through a cartoon. She likes the older kid movies and shows. She LOVES to play dollhouse and could play for hours! She also loves books! I have been reading her a story before bed every night and she will finally sit through an entire story! She also sits up and looks at her books when shes supposed to be asleep. But I dont mind. They are only books! She absolutely adores her new big girl bed! Kenny made her a little hangout underneath it, and she loves it! She is very girly! Loves makeup and dresses and loves to pick out her clothes! She recently learned ALL (and I mean ALL) The words to the song "walking after midnight!" She sings it constantly! She also know every word to "The Hoedown Throwdown" By Miley Cyrus! It is so cute to watch her sing those 2 songs! I will have to try and get a video of it and post it! She has a big attitude and Not a day goes by that she doesnt make us laugh! She is very articuliate also. She can say big words with ease and she pronounces them very clearly! Her most recent ones that she has said are "malfunction" and "cooperating"! She usually learns a new big word every time she watches iCarly! I wish everyone can know her like we know her and see how she is in her own territory! She is truly my pride and joy! Our lives would definately suck without her! I just love her so much!!!
