Kenny's Update!

Well. Kenny went to the doctor to have his heart shocked again. They had to give him 5 times the amount of sedation medicine than a normal person! and he still was awake! They shocked him once when they thought he was out, but he wasn't. So they gave hime more meds and tried again. He still wasn't out! They gave him even more meds and shocked him 2 more times and he stll wasn't out! None of the cardioverts were working, so they decided to use the paddles. i left the room because i didnt want to see him go through that and i was already having a hard time keeping it together. After the 5th time, (he was still concious!) The doctor said that his heart just wasn't going back into rhythm. He said that he wanted Kenny to make an appt. with his partner and see if he had any other ideas about what to do to get it into rhythm. They might try the cardiovert one more time before they have to go to the next option, which is called an ablation. They will have to go in up through his thigh, and burn the nerves to his heart. But he has to go see the other doc first, so lets just hope for another cardiovert! Oh, and by the way, he doesn't remember any of the shocks, but he did feel like he did 500 sit ups in a row! its been a few days and he is still very sore. He also has burn marks from the patches they put on!
